Jenny Umhofer is the owner and founder of Colledge. A graduate of UCLA, Ms. Umhofer has been in college admissions since 1996. She began her career in the UCLA School of the Arts and Architecture, where she reviewed thousands of college applications and recruited the nation’s top young artists. Ms. Umhofer also served as the assistant director of college admissions at Caltech, overseeing the review of highly selective math, science and engineering applications and she was the associate director of college admissions at Scripps College as well. Ms. Umhofer has been active in the National Association for College Admission Counseling, on the board of the Western Association of College Admissions Counseling and is an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association. She has made presentations on college admissions at numerous conferences and countless schools. She was also a member of the national Coca Cola Scholarship reading committee for three years.
